...In Which I Pretty Much Get Chocolate Wasted

So... This morning, all of us hopped in the car and made the drive down to Hershey, Pennsylvania.  I managed to get a bit of work done in the car, but then I kinda gave up and fell asleep.  Before then, however, I was able to get a glance of the beautiful scenery, consisting of rolling hills, colourful mountains (the leaves are absolutely gorgeous) and blue skies.

One of my favourite things about fall is the colourful leaves... Of course, this picture DOES NOT do the scenery I witnessed justice.  At all.

I woke up to the excited shrieks of Boo, saying "Chocolate! Chocolate!"  We were there.

"Welcome to Hershey, PA-- The sweetest place on earth!"

So we parked and went into "Chocolate World", where we educated ourselves about the history of Hershey's Milk Chocolate, and took a tour that showed how they make the various products at the factory.  It was super fun, and it definitely brought back a ton of memories from when we went a whillllllllle.  In fact, the minute we walked into the complex, I was hit with a blast of cocoa scent... it was so great.  The first thing we did was take an interactive tour thing that was basically a ride, and you went through and saw the steps of chocolate production.

We then looked around at other stuff, roamed around the gift shop and did like this mini "chocolate production line experience" thing.  XD  They had us take chocolate Kisses off of a conveyor belt and put them in this container that was then sent off to be packaged.  Looking at it, it was like a really out of way task that is really just a way to make kids feel like they're part of the process XD

Anyways...
Enjoy these random photos from my very chocolate-y adventure!!

MOAR CANDY

SHO MUCH CANDIES

That was one awesome gift shop...

World's Largest Hershey Bar, apparently.

2 peanut butter cups, each HALF A POUND.  ...How...Why....For what reason....?!

Twizzlers.  EXTRA LONG.  XD

No Boo, that's not food....

There's this hangover thing in the parking lot--- it's cool because the top of it is completely solar panels.  It's definitely a green facility.
So we're probably going to eat somewhere now, and then sleep here in the hotel.
Here's to a sweet day!
xoxo
