Well.
It's finally here.
My countdown at the bottom of my page is officially useless.
This is great.
I woke up this morning, and, even though it's Saturday (nothing too out of the ordinary) summer is starting to set in. Last night after school it felt like a huge weight had been lifted; I stayed in and watched old movies I hadn't seen in quite a while, enjoyed the summer tempest raging outside my window in all of its purple-clouded glory, and I just. Did. Nothing.
It was fantastic.
So I feel like my summer will happen in 4 phases:
PHASE 1: I let summer soak in. Not much of anything will happen, and I won't do much. It will be relaxation. (This will probably be the shortest stage...)
PHASE 2: Will include summer festivities. I'll go places, see friends, do fun summery stuff and really enjoy.
PHASE 3: This is the part where I realize I should start doing summer assignments and actually getting stuff ready for the beginning of the next school year.
PHASE 4: Panic mode. I'll be scrambling to get things done, being amazed at where the summer went, and trying to fit everything in before the first week back. And wow. When I do go back.... I'll be a Junior.
Hell year....
But anyways. WOO! Here's to the kicking off of SUMMER!
I don't really know what lies ahead, but I'm okay with that. I'm just gonna let everything fall into place and be amazing. Hopefully.
xoxo
