What Does My Party Look Like?

So... when I was younger, I was always getting invited to parties and stuff.  The themes were purty cool... Harry Potter, Arts'n'crafts, the Hunger Games, Spongebob, Pretty Princess (really young XD) and other probably awesome themes that I'm forgetting.  I guess you could say I was popular... but honestly, there were always tons of other people, so it could have been a ploy to get more gifts.

...haha

...Because I'm not really what you'd call popular.

ANYWAYS. Point is, I was younger.  My middle school days and high school career have dramatically decreased in terms of parties, but that's okay.  I've drifted away from some people, and that's okay.  That happens.  I'm not complaining or anything-- seeing as the parties I go to now are kind of more fun because it's not like all planned out by parents and chaperoned 24/7 (er, not 24/7 because that's weird having a party for seven days, twenty-four hours each day XD).  And honestly, (for me at least) it's not a mob of people.  It's a medium/smallish group of friends who you really enjoy being around.  Unless it's one of those parties where you spend half the time standing around thinking "oh she's such a bitch..."  or something (I've had those before).

So ANYWAYS.  Because I kinda was able to take part in a partayyyy today, I thought I'd kinda take a moment and just talk about the kind of parties you can have, and you can maybe decide for yourself what kinda party person you are.  AND I think I'll add a poll to this post, just because I can (;  Also because I may be a really weird and obscure teen and I just wanna know how people like to party, to find out if maybe I'm just a loner weirdo or something... But I feel like even if it turns out I'm a loner weirdo it would be okay  because loner weirdos are... weird and therefore interesting? I dunno.  Let your freak flag fly, or whatever.

ANYWAYS.  We shall commence.  (Also, if you've noticed I've said 'ANYWAYS' like three times in this post in basically the same exact place.... XD)

PARTY TYPE #1:  THE MOB.  
The typical Hollywood-high school movie.  (If you've seen Mean Girls or 21 Jump Street or even High School Musical, you know what I'm talking about.)  These are the parties where everyone brings other people and you end up having a bunch of (or too many) people crammed in one house. Chances are you'll meet someone new. Most often, alcohol is present and there may or may not be people hooking up in obscure places.  This is the kind of party where neighbors call the cops.  There's often a lot of music and you have to raise your voice just to be heard, and there's always a chance you're gonna have someone puke.  

PARTY TYPE #2: THE LA-DEE-DA.  
People act (somewhat) civilized and they dress up.  These are like the formal celebratory or family parties or schmoozing sessions  that can be boring, that is, until some guy trips over another person and spills shrimp and cocktail sauce all over their dress.  Purty entertaining.  There may also be live music. ...Also a chance that someone may puke (that random person who comes for the drinks and ends up having a bit too much)

PARTY TYPE #3: THE GET-TOGETHER.
I'd call it a chill party, but it's hard when the group is a bit small.  This is normally a more casual group hangout with your close friends.  You do random spontaneous things that may or may not include video games, board games, paintballing, laser tag, or intense foozball matches. It can be as calm or as wild as you want, and it's much more personal.
**At this point, I think throwing up is always a possibility XD Unless there's no alcohol around or you're not feeling sick from food, lol)

PARTY TYPE #4: THE SLEEP-OVER.  
More popular with the female gender, sleep overs can be very versatile, in that they can be big or small, crazy or calm, eventful or chill.  These are most often times all-nighters that involve movies, midnight snacks, Truth or Dare, and just heart to heart conversations.  (Obviously this sounds like a girl perspective because that's what I am... but guys have them too.  And since J had one recently with his buddies, I can say that a lot of video gaming happens XD)  Drama may or may not go down, and I feel like sleep-overs are rarely co-ed, especially in ze teen years.
Shame.

So.  Which kind of party do you prefer? I think I'm more of a get-together and sleep over person-- because most often times for me, it's personal.  I like the smallness of it-- it just tends to be more fun anyways.  And sleepovers, though I haven't had a big one recently, are fun too.  I just had one with Andrea last night-- she had her wisdom teeth out (all four!) on Wednesday, so we had a pity night.  It mostly consisted of us eating ice cream and random soft foods (she couldn't have crunchy or chewy things), a dip in her hot tub, and watching Anchorman 2.  I feel like it was a good movie... but we both kinda kept nodding off during it so we really can't say... too much info was missing XD  Eh... Now I feel like renting it was a waste XD (we had to return it the next day) :/

So yeah.
I'm a smaller crowd person, though I do like to get loud and crazy occasionally.  Depends on my mood (;
