Annnnd here's the crew, all decked out in JMU gear. Yours truly is sticking out like a sore thumb in her bright blue pants... XD
So that was a good time. OH and our bus driver-- (we took a school bus early in the morning that Friday down to Harrisonburg) was an adorable 70-something year old who called himself "Crash". (His real name was Joe, lol). He was the NICEST person EVAR, and he had a funny sense of humour. I gained this pearl of wisdom:
"If at first you don't succeed... skydiving may not be for you."

In other school-ish related news... related to the whole "Junior year is nothing but new-ness", I decided to join the Powderpuff team for the game this coming Tuesday. It's homecoming week this coming week! :D. If you're unfamiliar with Powderpuff football, it's where the girls play the game and the boys cheer lead. Our class has a phenomenal boy's cheer routine (so I hear (; ) We'll see how that goes. But anyways. Powderpuff. It's been annoying... our practices have been at 7am, three times a week. That combined with unfinished homework and almost no sleep isn't a fun thing. But it's almost over. This coming Tuesday will be the game, and then it'll be done with.
So yes, the Homecoming festivities are among us. And speaking of Homecoming... guess who asked me :P (Hint: we've been dating a while XD) It was adorable the way he did it-- We were hanging out in his basement, when he asks me if I want to watch TV. I said yes, and he handed the remote. It's one of those complicated xfinity ones and I turn on everything but the TV. All of a sudden J looks kinda distraught/depressed/dejected and sighs. Thinking I had maybe seriously messed up his TV, I apologized but at the same time wondered how can someone get so upset looking over an incorrectly turned on TV? Well, apparently, I had messed up his ask-Stephanie-to-homecoming plan. XD He took the remote from my hands, pressed a few things, and then voila-- we tuned into this surprise channel:
I was surprised XD And it was adorable. But it's great because I've bought my dress already. I actually bought it like, 2 months ago. XD (Pictures to come! (; )
Moving on from Homecoming... and back to the theme of branching out and just stepping out of my comfort zone and trying ALL OF THE NEW THINGS.... I tried out for my school's comedy improv troupe... And made it. :O Our first show was tonight (Friday) and wow. What an awesome experience. I mean, doing plays and musicals is/has been fun, but I don't think I've ever enjoyed myself so much onstage before as I did tonight. It was. Incredible. And I'm so happy with the people in the troupe this year. It's a great bunch.
So I think that wraps up the school area. Next category!
