The Day Needs To Be Longer.

Seriously.  I mean, I love fall and the weather (sorta--- I'm kinda a wimp when it comes to cold) and the prettyful leaves, but... I hate the fact that it basically gets dark at like, 5pm.

This is not okay.

It's throwing my body clock off, and I have less time to do things, like run.  Instead, I spend most of my time doing homework or sleeping or eating (what a teenager, right?) or socializing and before I know it, it's like it's time to sleep or something.

But I do like the fact that the sky does random things like this:

But anyways.  I guess I just wanted a title for this post, so I figured I'd start with that.  The real purpose of this post was meant to be an update.  I haven't posted anything in a while, and that induces a sort of frown-y face.  Even that November 5th post or whatever, was scheduled earlier tonight because I just have had no time to put anything together recently.  But anyways.  Moving on!

So a lot has happened.... I'll start with

District Chorus Auditions.  Yeah, that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  The audition was okay in that the song was... not really that  great, I think I had some rhythm flub-ups.  Which is really rare, because normally I'm pretty on par with that, but all the nerves... they came to me.  :/  Sight-reading was perfect, so that's good-- it's nice to know I am somewhat capable of doing that awesome musician stuff.  We got results back pretty quickly.  Beforehand, we walked into a room, with a giant screen.  The judges sat behind it, so they couldn't see you at all.  (Like the voice! No discrimination or anything.)  And they had score sheets.  You were graded on things like intonation and purity of tone/beauty of tone, accuracy, etc.  All of that somehow totaled to 100 points, and with 2 judges judging, that meant you'd get a score out of 200.  When I got my results, I had a 180 something, putting me at like, the 6th chair for alto in the entire school district.  So I was purty happy about that (:

Pop-Pop...  They're doing the dangerous surgery for my grandfather this Friday.  You can bet he'll be in every single one of my thoughts and prayers.  <3

School...*grumble grumble*  It's all been a blur lately.  Turn this in, do this, get this form signed... There may have been some interesting moments in there, but I can't remember them.
Moving on.

Cold = Cold Urg.  I think I'm sick.  That one day I went running to the bus without a coat... while that may not be the main reason, I think that contributed somehow to my current state.  I hate cold weather in that respect, because for me, it is exactly that.  Cold weather.  I don't seem to get sick except for around this time.  J's also been really under the weather as of late, so that probably has contributed a bit... if you know what I mean... (; (But it's okay-- I don't really care)

That's been a thing lately too-- I've been really sleep deprived this past week... I should fix that...
