Is this even a thing? I'm not sure, (I don't think I'll waste my time googling it, but whatever) but if it isn't, I'm inventing it. Let's face it-- I've been really excited about this new blog, and I've been cranking out posts like, every day. Realistically, I know I can't keep this up. I know that there will come times when I don't even have internet access or let alone time in my schedule to be so faithful as I have the past few days. Not to mention the fact that things could get boring pretty quickly-- I may have a post out every day, but is it really interesting or compelling? So... just a heads up, I guess.
But while I'm still on the high, I might as well talk about my amazing day. Well, I wouldn't call it "amazing" but it was better than normal, that's for sure! Started out waking up really hot this morning around nine something AM. Earlier that morning I had awoken purely because of the stupid heat-- I swear, that AC needs to get fixed. But I remember opening my window and while it was still somewhat dark out, trying to enjoy whatever cool air was looming outside of my bedroom. Couple hours passed, and I woke up, got breakfast and checked email, all that great internet stuffs. Showering soon after to the amazing Michael Jackson's "Man In the Mirror", you can bet I was singing to every word. It was like a throwback shower, with songs from MJ and Pat Benatar. Purty fun. Then had to get dressed, because Bubby had his last day of band camp today, and they end it every year with a concert that the families can come to. It was a great performance-- they had three different bands, a beginners band, a more experienced band (the gold band) and then they had the "ol' hats" band, full of brass, woodwind and percussion Jedis (the purple band). Why the most advanced people aren't the gold ones, I'll never know. But you could tell the kids worked really hard, and it was enjoyable. Not to mention the fact that it was a relief to be able to sit in the dark and cool auditorium out of the dreadful heat.
Ah, yes. The dreadful heat. "Real-feel" today was approx. 112 degrees. That is insane. There was, of course, a heat advisory, and being outside more than 10 minutes made you want to melt right on the ground. Forecast says rain tomorrow and Sunday, so hopefully that should break this awful stupid idiotic heat wave that has taken over the area. I'm still really mad our upstairs AC thingy isn't working properly...
After the concert, mom took us kids out to lunch. It was only myself, Joy, Albert, Bubby, and Boo because Ruski was doing his own thing at an all day camp suited for juvenile delinquents...
I kid.
But seriously, that camp is encouraged to kids who are for better words "the problem kids" at school, at risk for being sucked into gangs or whatnot. Ruski's the ruthless angry idiotic type, who won't run away from a fight and sometimes lacks a bit of intelligence. I hate the fact that he thinks he's so tough that he refuses hugs from mom... But I suspect there's more to that than just a macho thing... ugh. ANYWAYS.
As it grows slowly darker outside, I'm thinking of tomorrow's plans... My guy friend and I have made plans to go walking to some local park-- it's good, because it gives both of us a chance to rant/talk/just randomly blabber about relationships. That, and I haven't seen him in a while so it'd be fun to see him again.
Annnnnnnnd since I digress so much, I'll revert back to Blogger's High (because it's totally a thing). Sometimes I feel like I have loads to say, and other times, I feel like I'm just struggling to do so. So you know, if you have any questions about me or my life, or my blogging obsession, don't hesitate to ask! I could also possibly get into those blog feature things, where on a certain day I'd blog about a certain something. If you have any ideas, feel more than free to share! You can comment or contact me, whichever (: But then again, I know once I get talking about something, it'll lead me to something else, and it can be easy going from there. Either way, thanks for reading and putting up with my random posts-- I know I'll get used to this/get the hang of it sooner or later. (:
