Letters From a Beach Bum: Day 2

Yay for scheduled posts! What would I do without them...

ANYWAYS.  Hi guys (:  Day 2 here in quasi-paradise.  It was a really lazy day.  Woke up late.  Didn't leave for the beach until mid after noon.  Wonderfully breezy day.  Afterwards hit the pool and chilled in weather bordering on chilly.  Good stuff.

Had some virtual connections later with the boyfriend, and ended the night with a stellar dinner (shout out to my mom and her bbq'd chicken and macaroni YUM), Night at the Museum 2, and episodes of M.A.S.H.  (I can see why so many people liked that show now... (:  )

I swear, just being outside for a long time makes one tired.  And that's what I was.  Tired. I passed out almost immediately after dinner...

In other news... I FINISHED MOST OF MY HISTORY WORK!  The time I was inside not really doing anything, I spent doing the stupid  rest of my AP history assignment.  I can gladly say I'm like, 8/10 of the way done now (:   Whew.

Acting genius. Brilliant comedian. Why do the good die young?

In other OTHER news.... as I was wandering the Internets / scrolling on the Birdy Website, I discovered with a heavy heart that Robin Williams passed away today.  He died at age 63, and, the saddest part... he took his own life.  ),:  And, like I've seen in various places, people are saying how it's often the happiest people that are dying inside.  And that maybe the reason they are the way they are is because they know the misery.  They know how the empty abyss of loneliness feels. And they don't want anyone to go through that themselves.  A noble sacrifice, but it shouldn't have to be.  Everyone deserves to be happy.  And if we could just all be a little more kind... Maybe we could make this positive ripple that would save people from things like this.  Rest in peace, Robin Williams.  You were one of my favourite actors/comedians of all time... You'll be missed so much as you were loved by so many.  Let everyone remember the joy and happiness you brought to millions, and let your memory inspire us to do the same.  <3 <3 <3

So.  With that.  Go forth. Hug your people, guys.

xoxo
