Thirty Things You May Not Know About Me

So I just want to thank all y'all who come here and randomly read what I have to say-- it may not be deep or emotional *ahemrandomrecountsofmyday* but I'm still uber grateful nonetheless (:

So.  As a little random post to sorta get closer with my various readers, I'll be listing some things that you may or may not know about me.

Here we go (:<  *rubs palms together sinisterly*

1.  I have not broken a single bone in my body.  Well, there was this scare when I was little-- I closed my hand in the front door to my house and my parents were afraid that I had broken my growth plate.

2.  I love spelling things the British way.  Colour, favourite, honour... You get the idea (;

3.  I am kind of a grammar Nazi... I am, most times, the first to correct people on their grammar. (Also, the fact that the red line appears under my un-capitalized "nazi" makes me sad... why should I have to capitalize Nazi?)

4.  I love the water.  I've always dreamed that some day I'll live somewhere tropical near the water...  Well... It's all great until hurricanes and monsoons and tsunamis and whatnot.. And crocodiles/alligators. (Lol, purty sure those first two are the same thing but called different things by different peoples)

5.  I used to dance.  A lot.  Tap, ballet and hip-hop.  Sometimes I wish I had continued... The same goes for gymnastics... **AUTHOR'S NOTE*** Yeah, don't quit something just because your coach is leaving to go to live in Hawaii.

6.  <-- the number of kids in my family (:  Ruski, me, Joy, Albert, Bubby, and Boo.  That's us.

8.  My favourite fruit is pineapple. (Sorry, J)  Closely followed by grapes and mangos.

9.  My favourite games of all time? Taboo, Catchphrase, Apples to Apples  (I'd call them board games, but they're more card-oriented..)

10.  My favourite genre of food is Italian (mmmmm J) closely followed by Chinese, Thai, and Greek

11.  I used to have stage fright.  Hard to believe now-- I sing in front of people and act, but in my early elementary school years I was terrified.  XD

12.  My birthstone is an aquamarine.  Purty suiting, seeing as I love ze water (:

13.  I have 4 years of German language education under my belt.  Couple more years and I'll be considered fluent, und dann es wird alles gut sein.

14.  I used to collect stamps.  I gave up on it though, seeing as I never had a proper place to put them.

15.  I'm an Aries in terms of astrology, and an Ox in terms of the Chinese zodiac.

16.  I hate pears.  Can't stand them at all.  And it's not because they look funny.

17.  I have moles in sets of two on my arms.  It's weird.  It's like they're best friends and only come in sets...

18.  I just may one day get a tattoo on the inside of my left wrist that looks like this

19.  I own a signed picture of Dick Van Dyke.

20.  I am only 4' 11.5".  I'm not short, I'm petite!  *coughcoughfunsizecoughcough*

21.  I am a huge fan of roller coasters.   The rush of adrenaline is amazing.

22. I feel like I want to be a teacher when I get out of college/ I want to pursue a degree in teaching (anyone who has maybe done this and wants to hit me up regarding experiences and advice and what not, COMMENTS ARE WELCOME :D )

23.  I only eat relish and ketchup on hot dogs.

24.  My favourite model of car is a 1970-something Corvette Stingray  :D

25.  I caught a fish the very first time I ever cast my line in the water.  It was at the creek near my grandparent's house-- I caught a perch (:  They're spiny!

27. Sometime this summer I'll be attending my second ever family reunion.

J and I have been dating for almost 2 years now <3 (We officially met in 6th grade, in the back of our English classroom-- I had been moved because I was talking too much to one of my friends, and ended up sitting next to him... I knew he was special when we raced through our sentence diagramming and laughed at the fact that we even had to do the stupid task in the first place XD)

30.  Some day I'm going to go skydiving with my best friend, Andrea <3
